The designs are inspired by sports and casual shoes from the 1920s and 1930s, resulting in a retro look with a modern twist. Every pair radiates character, color, and quality.

What truly sets Kamo-Gutsu apart is the story behind its name. The brand is named after an ancient Japanese sport called kemari, a precursor to modern football. In the 7th century, this elegant ball game was played by members of the Japanese aristocracy and emphasized grace, agility, and cooperation. The players wore special shoes shaped like a duck's beak—hence the brand name:
