Privacy is a question of trust, we attach importance to your trust. We respect your privacy and personal privacy. That is why we comply with the legal provisions when processing your personal data. We want to inform you about the data that we have registered and used and ask you for your permission for certain forms of data use. Taft Shoes sells accessories and shoes for women, men and children. We sell our range through our app, webshop and stores. We process privacy-sensitive information, also known as personal data. In some cases we work together with other organizations or companies

1. General data registration and general use
1.1 Data recording and use
a. Order: Your data will be registered, stored (your data will remain stored until you delete your data yourself or ask us to remove your data) and processed by us with a view to the settlement of your order and any subsequent warranty as well as with a view to our service. When processing your order, the service providers (transporters, logistics companies, mailchimp, ingenico, cash register supplier, webshop supplier and banks) engaged by us receive the necessary information. When ordering products and services, we need your correct address details. Your telephone number is only used for questions. We need your e-mail address to confirm your order and to be able to communicate with you. We also use it for identification (customer login). You will also receive an order confirmation via this address. If we have the date of birth we only use this for your birthday.
b. Customer login: Your concrete order data are stored by us, but cannot be requested directly from us for security reasons. Every customer who registers for this, however, gets direct access from us by means of a password. This allows you to consult information about your placed, open and recently sent orders as well as manage your address details, bonus points and the newsletter. The customer undertakes to treat the personal access data confidentially and not to make it available to unauthorized third parties. We are not liable for unauthorized use of passwords, unless the abuse is attributable to us. By My Account you can cancel yoyur account.
c. Advertising purposes: We use your data for advertising purposes, that is, for information about products from our range. We only use e-mail advertising, to the extent that this is permitted by law or in so far as you have explicitly authorized us to do so. d. Other data registration and other use: Of course we also use your personal data to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
e. Market and customer satisfaction survey: Your data can also be used for our market and customer satisfaction surveys. Obviously, we use this data anonymously and for statistical purposes by the company Taft New Dimension B.V. You can close the questionnaire at any time. We would also like to point out that your answers will not be distributed to third parties or made public. The input of your e-mail address is only necessary when you participate in a giveaway. We will never store your answers together with your e-mail address.

- to process your registration for our membership, shoebook, Taft panel or other services (mid June 2018).
- to inform you which items you have purchased at the moment and in which size, brand and color.
- to register and process your bonus points.
- to communicate with you by sending electronic newsletters and / or mail.
- to offer your personalized ads and content on our Taft Shoes webshop and app.
- to send your personalized newsletters based on your interests.
- to process your data for possible participation in competitions and other actions, so that we can reach you when you have won something and can improve our services.

4. Provision to third parties
We pass on the information provided by you to third parties, if this is necessary for the delivery of the products ordered by you, or services requested. For example, we use a third party for the settlement of the payments in our webshop and we pass on your details to the mail deliverer to deliver the order to you. The data is processed in our cash register system that has a link with our webshop. The details of the app are processed via Amazon.
When we provide your data to a third party, we provide, among other things (with an agreement), that your data will not be used for other purposes. We also agree that your data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer needed.
Furthermore, we will not provide the information provided by you to other parties, unless this is legally required or permitted. In order to prevent misuse, we ask you to adequately identify you by means of a written request for inspection, by sending a copy of a valid proof of identity. Do not forget to hide your BSN and your passport photo on the copy. For example, you can use the Copy ID app for this.
